An easy to use, light-weight, on-demand virus scanner for Linux systems

clamtk logo

Please note - we're officially moving to Gitlab soon. Details coming.

ClamTk is a graphical front-end for ClamAV using Perl and Gtk libraries. It is designed to be an easy-to-use, lightweight, on-demand antivirus scanner for Linux systems. February 2018 marks our fourteenth year!

From this page, you can download Fedora and CentOS rpms as well as Debian and Ubuntu debs. There are builds for older distributions such as Ubuntu 12.04 and CentOS 6. You can also install clamtk-gnome, thunar-sendto-clamtk, nemo-sendto-clamtk, and clamtk-kde if you like to have a right-click, context menu in your file manager.

If you'd like to check the digital signature of the downloaded file (rpm, deb, .tar.gz, tar.xz) prior to installation, there are directions to do so in the README.

If you're interested in seeing the latest updates, check out the changelog here.

If you're having problems verifying the signature of the files, this wiki link.
